Many of the research and development studies for the industrial-scale synthesis of drug substances were completed in FARGEM Synthesis R&D Department. Most of these studies have been taken under protection with patents.
Fundamental Medicines R&D
Pharmaceutical Research and Development has two categories. The first is fundamental pharmaceutical researches. The second is clinical researches. The fundamental pharmaceutical R&D Department’s main area of work covers the first aspect. Within this scope, developing new pharmaceutical, pharmacodynamic studies, toxicology studies, and biological activity assays constitute the area of work for the department. Currently, the research of new pharmaceuticals and assay of biological activities of new drug candidates are performed by fundamental medicine R&D.
